About the Instructor

From the moment I graduated from my high school Auto Body class, I knew one day I wanted to teach. While enrolled in Oakland University for my teaching degree I applied at a corvette restoration shop and decided I wanted to pursue the field before taking that leap into teaching Auto Body. Over 10 years I worked at restoration shops, collision shops, production shops, and worked on show cars for the Auto Show. I started as a non-structural body technician and worked my way into the paint booth. The paint booth has always been my happy place and on vacations I was "work sick' instead of "home sick". I had a ton of passion for what I do and love every minute of it. Fast forward to today and I'm living my dream teaching that passion to my student's here at Ed Tech. I couldn't be more thankful to stand before them today teaching them how wonderful this trade is!

As for myself outside of the classroom, I am happily married to my husband, Kyle. He renovates houses for a living and also does landscaping in the summer. His current project is our home now and we are fixing it up together. We have two very spunky and cute Corgis named Chevy & Nova that love to cuddle and play fetch. In my free time I love riding horses with my two younger sisters, and also have a newborn photography business.
