CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE:  
Introduction to healthcare and basic skills needed for employment in a hospital, private-duty setting, hospice, home health agency or long-term care facility.

Note: 16 hours of clinical experience is required by the State of Michigan for certification and is scheduled through the instructor, totaling an            80 hour commitment.  Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and obtain and show proof of a TB & Hepatitis immunization. Students will need surgical scrubs and appropriate shoes for work in a nursing home.
80 hrs  5-9 p.m. Tuesday

$900 + $55 book fee = Total $955 *

EKG TECHNICIAN
Upon completion of this class, students will be prepared to function as an Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician.  They will also be prepared to take the EKG Technician exam, as well as other national certification exams.
60 Hrs. 6pm to 10pm

PHLEBOTOMY:
Classroom lecture and practical hands-on instruction.  Learn professional standards, venipuncture equipment/use, procedures, types of tests, specimen handling/processing, and workplace safety.
60 Hrs 6:15pm to 10:15pm Mondays

WELDING I 

Introduction to various welding processes and procedures, hands-on approach, and achieve practical job skills in welding.
60 Hrs.  Tuesday and Thursday 5pm to 9pm.

WELDING II
Building upon skills learned in Welding I.  More advanced welding methods such as multiple pass and out of position welding practices and procedures.
60 Hrs. Tuesday and Thursday 5pm to 9pm.

WELDING III
Advanced welding practices and prcedures toward achieving certification level welding.
60 Hrs. Tuesday and Thursday 5pm to 9pm.

MICROSOFT OFFICE COMPUTERS

Microsoft Office classes available by subject. Choose Publisher, Word, PowerPoint or Excel. Each subject is $90 for 15 hours of Instruction.
