Welcome to the Lapeer County Intermediate School District website. Our ISD has the privilege to serve the residents of Lapeer County. Within our ISD are five very effective local school districts that include: the Almont Community Schools, the Dryden Community Schools, the Imlay City Schools, the Lapeer Community Schools, and North Branch Area Schools. Our ISD also includes the outstanding Chatfield School, a public charter school. Our local school districts, as well as the Chatfield School, work in collaboration with each other and the ISD to provide excellent educational and extra-curricular opportunities for their students.
The Lapeer County ISD, either on its own or through collaborative efforts with other districts, provides a variety of services to its constituents which include:

Literacy and Instructional Services support for teachers in Lapeer County

Internet capabilities and technical support for all schools in the county as well as to government, law enforcement, and other human service agencies

Instructional services for students in the county that are homebound and unable to attend school on a daily basis

REMC services for educators in the county

Assistance in the management of local district business offices

Leadership and direction in the county in the areas of student and financial data collection software as well as state and local assessment services

Truancy and delinquency prevention services in collaboration with the
county's family court system
Lapeer County Intermediate School District has a very talented and dedicated staff that works diligently to serve the students and educators in our county. Our staff is constantly striving to identify ways in which they can positively impact on the quality of instruction provided in our county.
