Lapeer County Early College has two different models in place:
Traditional Model:
Students in their junior year would take 6 college courses at the Education and Technology Center in a two hour block. Students have the potential to earning 18 college credits
In their senior year, students would take an additional 6 college courses at the Education and Technology Center in a three-hour block. Students have the potential to earn an additional 19 college credits.
In their 13th year, students would take a minimum of 12 college credits per semester on campus with one of our four partners. Students have the potential to earn a minimum of 24 college credits in the 13th year.

CTE Blend Model
Students in their junior year would take 4 college courses at the Education and Technology Center in a one-hour block plus a CTE program. Students have the potential to earn 12 college credits.
In their senior year, they would take 4 college courses at the Education and Technology Center in a one-hour block plus a CTE program. Students ahve the potential to earn an additional 12 college credits.
In their 13th year, students would take a minimum of 12 college credits per semester on campus with one of our four partners. Students have the potential to earn a minimum of 24 college credits in the 13th year.
**Students may earn additional college credit through their CTE program they are enrolled in.
