GED and HiSET Test Prep and Testing

Earn a State-issued high school equivalency diploma. 
 

The State issued high school credential earned by passing these tests is accepted by more than 95% of U.S. employers, colleges, and universities.

These tests are the first step toward better jobs, further training, and/or higher education. 

ELIGIBILITY: 

Have not graduated from high school.
Age 18 or over.
High school class has graduated.
Picture I.D. is required. 

GED

The GED test has provided a uniform measure of high school achievement for over 50 years, and the 2014 edition reflects current high school curriculum standards and includes content related to the workplace and community.  GED tests are computer delivery tests.

$150 testing fee MUST be paid online with a Credit Card

HiSET

Educational Testing Service (ETS) launched the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) in January of 2014 as another option for adults, and out-of-school youth, to demonstrate their abilities and  reflects current high school curriculum standards and content related to the workplace and community. HiSET is a pencil and paper delivery test.

You must provide a valid government-issued photo ID. The identification must display your full name (matching the name used for exam registration), address, date of birth, signature and photograph. Outdated or expired identification will not be accepted. On the day of your test, if you do not bring a valid government-issued ID, you will not be allowed to test

  • First paper-delivered test: $53 ($15 ETS fee, $8 test center fee, and a one-time $30 state administration fee).
  • Additional paper-delivered tests: $23 ($15 ETS fee, $8 test center fee).
